I’m always asked about makeup…and if I get ready every single day. And for the most part, I do! I’ve always loved testing out new products and going down all the make up aisles. I’ve talked before about when my boys were little, almost all of my focus was on them…and I rarely took time for myself and certainly wasn’t too concerned about my clothes or my make up or hair. I ended up at my heaviest weight and was literally miserable. Long story short, I finally decided to take a little more care of myself. It became fun to shop for makeup again and try new things…and I found myself being more productive on the days where I would actually get ready. Of course, everyone has a different mindset as far as this goes, but for me, it works.
Sharing my favorite beauty items has become one of my favorite things to do. I always love to hear what works for everyone else, love trying new brands and seeing what the newest products are. So stay tuned for tutorials, recommendations and hits and misses!!

Our son just moved into his own apartment to be closer to college; we live about 40 minutes from campus. He stayed home the first three years but with diving practice at 6am, internship, classes and wanting to be more involved socially, it really is the the best thing for him. Me? I cry daily but I want him to experience everything and never have regrets.
