A Fresh Start

We moved into our current house almost eight years ago! It’s crazy to think about, because it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. We’ve done SO MUCH to this house since we moved in…literally nothing looks the same. Over the last year with the Pandemic, I really had a shift in my style and what I wanted our home to feel like. When I started on Instagram, I fell majorly in love with the farmhouse movement..which to this day I still love and really appreciate. I just felt more and more like it wasn’t authentic to US…and that I wanted less things in our house. I was craving clean lines and a refresh…if that makes sense. So, now with this blog, I’m excited to take you guys along a little closer as things continue to change, and we continue to learn to do these projects on our own when we can…because we LOVE DIY projects…even if Jared tries to tell you otherwise!!!
